The singer signed with Columbia Records in 1997. Sweet Kisses (1999), her debut album, sold two million copies in America. The single "I I Wanna Love You Forever" was a big commercial hit. Simpson's second studio album Irresistible is a more mature release. The album's title track was Simpson's second highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 entry. Simpson moved into country music after the release her sixth album, Do You Know (2008). It is the most successful ever licensed by a celebrity that has more than $1 billion in sales to the date. In 2010, she starred on the reality television show The Price of Beauty. She also acted as a judge for fashions during Fashion Star's two seasons in 2012 and 2013. Simpson is married Eric Johnson and has three children.
