Lita Rossana Ford (also known as Lita Ford) is an American British guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Ford's solo career in heavy metal proved successful following the band breakup. Following lessons in voice she released her solo debut album "Out for Blood" which was followed by "Dancin in the Dark". Ford did not achieve much with either album, and then she decided to leave the music scene for a decade. The year was 1988 when she released her smashing success album 'Lita.' Kiss Me Deadly and Close My Eyes Forever which both that were massive hits were two instances. The problem was that she only was a brief star and disappeared from the scene for a number of years. Her release of "Black" in 1995 was followed by "Wicked Wonderland', a little over 15 years following. In 2016, her most recent album, 'Time Capsule,' was released. Guitar Player Magazine presented her with the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
